Today

Today is the day

where we pause, and choose our way

no more are we going to delay

to what is meant for us, to what is just

we are not a victim to our circumstances

we must recognize that together, we stand stronger in our stances

all of our gifts...our light side and our dark side

makes us whole, like the ocean and the tides

we all have something that lights us on fire

so, let's find out what that is and fan the flame to make us right higher

because what this world needs, is more people to come alive

because when we come alive, we are unstoppable, we are ready to dive

to dive into a reality that we get to create for ourselves

a reality that we get to live, not just an idea collecting dusts on some shelves

because so many people take their dreams to the grave

but not you, not us, because we are brave

we are brave, and we love ourselves enough to honor our souls.

no matter the high, no matter the lows

let's embrace on this journey together and get what we deserve.
